Born from a desire to create a welcoming living environment and promote the neighborhood's sustainability, the multigenerational living project
Le MileBrook is the largest rental residential project in the eastern end of Montreal.
Le MileBrook has been designed to bring communities and families closer together in an area in full revitalization, offering a wide variety of spacious housing options as well as outdoor and indoor common areas, community gardens, shops, grocery stores, and daycare facilities nearby.
Le MileBrook consists of 9 buildings ranging from 6 to 8 stories high, housing some 800 rental residential units of exceptional construction quality, all in a prime location.
Le MileBrook is an innovative project designed to foster community cohesion, multifunctional neighbourhood living, peace of mind, and an environment focused on biodiversity.
The MileBrook concept revolves around biophilia and the well-being that stems from contact with nature. Natural elements are integrated into the living space to soothe the mind: an urban vegetable garden as well as green spaces and rooftops.
Giving back to families in the community is at the heart of the Le MileBrook project. With this in mind, the Louis-Charles Routhier Foundation has committed to donating to Mères avec pouvoir to provide access to affordable housing for low- or modest-income single mothers in the neighbourhood, thereby improving their living conditions.
Living at Le MileBrook means enjoying an optimal quality of life, with easy, convenient access to various local shops. A 12,000-square-foot Val-Mont grocery store will be located on the ground floor of one of the buildings, accessible from all phases via the underground parking garage, while another building will house a coffee shop, pharmacy, daycare, and medical clinic.
Le MileBrook perfectly balances urban and rural living while focusing on sustainable development. On track to obtain its LEED Platinum certification, the project is committed to an eco-responsible approach. The units meet energy efficiency standards exceeding those required by building codes and all wetlands in the vast area are protected. All residential parking lots will be indoors to prevent heat islands and create more green spaces.
The butterfly, as a pollinator, embodies transformation, freedom, hope, and new beginnings. It thrives by spreading life on its path.
In its image, Le MileBrook project breathes new life into its surroundings: it gives rise to a vibrant neighborhood, energized by dynamic businesses and the creation of a new community.
